General Meeting
Many new faces this time around. We had some lively discussions on various topics. And one fellow talked about his Wireless ISP business for boating marinas in Southern California.
A couple of IT folks from Cal Tech were here to talk about their various projects and concepts how wireless may help with the parking problems on campus.
We also started some discussion on wireless in the Los Angeles tele-commuter and car-culture. We are married to our cars and many of us spend at least 2 hours a day in the car. What benefits could an always-on network bring to the driver? (Keywords: Telematics, Infofueling) (more…)
